It’s never too late to say…Hello 2013!

Standard

Hello again world!

It’s been almost a year since I last posted in this blog.  Pardon the inactivity, I was so caught up and still busy with our BIG move, I’m still in the adjustment period (yup, after more than a year!).   Nevertheless, I’m happy to tell you that I’ve started scrapping again, yipee!  I did a one page 12×12 simple lay-out and about to finish 2 pages of Project Life.  Yes, I decided to take the bullet and join the Project Life band.  It’s a perfect tool for our new life here.  Hope I can scrap regularly and not just a “ningas kugon” (a trait where you are enthusiastic and fired up to do a task at first but as time goes by, you lose the momentum and the determination and not finish it at all.)

But before I show you my recent pages, let me share these lay-outs I finished before the “move”…

SAY CHEESE:

This is the last Halloween Trick or Treat (year 2011) we attended at Sun Life.  One of the events I miss in my previous office.

Happy birthday to my princesses!

Hi!  I’ve neglected this blog for more than a quarter because of the big move we made last July.  The whole family is now here in Canada.  Although I have some scrapbooking stuff with me, I think Mr. Mojo was left behind.  I’m still waiting for him to come follow me…so while I’m still adjusting to a much colder climate, looking for a real job and waiting for Mr. Mojo, I am taking an official break from scrapbooking.

However, I hope to continue blogging regularly and share with you some of the layouts I made before we left the Philippines.   Since it was my girls’ birthday a couple of weeks ago, I’m sharing these pages I made for each of them.

LITTLE SWEETHEART:

My eldest turned twelve  last September 27 and we had fun celebrating her birthday at a park just outside Winnipeg.

“Gaby, may the good Lord bless you with good health, good fortune and good life!  May you be a blessing to others always. ”

KIKAY PEG:

My baby Alexa turned five last October 1 and it was a joint celebration at the park.  This kid is such a girly girl, so “kikay” to the highest level.

“Alexa. may you realize that you are beautiful inside and out.  Nothing artificial will make you more beautiful than being a warm hearted, kind and generous child of God.”

Till the next post!  Tata!

FAB Girls

Standard

True XOXO  challenge this June  is to take a look into your closet and be inspired with what you see inside.  A real challenge for me because my closet is sooo boring – – those blacks, whites, grays, reds and only occasional splashes of colors.   Look…

A challenge because I don’t often use those blah colors in my scrapbooking *sigh*   It was such a saving grace to find the perfect photo for this.

Yes, another lay-out for my scrapbooking buddies, the Adobo Girls!  We go beyond just sharing our passion in this craft but also sharing our very real lives.

FAB GIRLS:

Please check out the amazing takes of the other girls here.  Hope you can join in the fun!

God bless!

Wild N Crazy!

Standard

We, Adobo girls, surely know how to get crazy and have fun!  We don’t only go gaga over scrapbooking, we also love to goof in front of the camera.  After all, scrapbooking and photos are inseparable.  While others forget to take photos of themselves, we make sure that we also have our own beautiful photos to scrapbook.

WILD N’ CRAZY

Entered this in 106th Challenge of Color Room 3 weeks ago.  I was really inspired with the colors here.  Check this out!  This was my first time to join their challenge and I enjoyed it!

Hello There Sunshine!

Standard

Yes, summer is definitely here!  I can feel the heat and I’m lovin’ it (just because I’m always confined in our new office building with full blast airconditioning, that is! –teehee!).   Seriously, we’re lining up activities, out of town trips and get-togethers for summer, everybody’s excited!  We can’t wait!

Speaking of sunshine, here’s my little girl giving us sunshine everyday even when clouds are gray (sounds familiar, huh?)…

HELLO THERE SUNSHINE:

Alexa, you’re truly adorable!

This layout is also my take on this month’s challenge over at TRUE XOXO!  The challenge is to take inspiration from the source of all kinds of inspiration — PINTEREST . Please check the cool layouts of the girls in our new home.  You have until the end of March to submit your entries to have a chance to be one of our GDTs.  Hope you can join us!

Disney Adventures

Standard

There are so many attractions that await you in Disney, there are rides that will give you thrills and excitement and to say that  my eldest girl loved all of them is an understatement!  Here are the layouts I made recording the fun rides we experienced:

MAD HATTER’S TEA CUP (first ride we had):

FLYING DUMBO (for toddlers really but hey, we enjoyed it!):

ASTRO BLASTERS-BUZZ LIGHTYEAR (Gaby’s favorite, we went twice, my head hurts) :

ORBIT RIDE (AND SOME ATTRACTIONS IN TOMORROWLAND):

THE MANY ADVENTURES OF WINNIE THE POOH:

Incidentally, this last page (Pooh’s Adventures) is my take on TRUE XOXO’s February Challenge.  Please get messy with your mists,  paints, glitter and what have you’s and join in the fun!  You have until the end of the month to submit your entry/ies!  Thanks!

Street Art

Standard

I think a lot of people who went to HK Disney missed this incredible and creative man on the streets of Disneyland.  He used his sweeper and some water to create and draw the faces of Disney characters..  Amazing STREET ART!

Made this during my friend, Ria’s, birthday celebration last year.  Materials used here were the yummy scrap stuff she let us devour during that fun day!  Looking forward to more “scrappy-days-out” with my fun-filled and talented scrap buddies this year.

12 Years…

Standard

…and counting!  Yes, last December 11, Mr. O and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary.   No, we didn’t exchange silk nor linen, nor I receive  jewelry in pearls (how I wish!) but spent the whole day out of town with our 2 princesses.   It was a breezy, cold, sunny Tagaytay weather , perfect for cuddling!

Here’s a page to remember our anniversary and to thank God for giving us another year of togetherness:

Christmas is barely a week from now but we’ve started the celebration as early as  September.  It’s a long, crazy, stressful, expensive, yummy, happy kind of season here in this part of the world!   But we love it!

Hope you’re all having a blast inspite of, you know what…
