Joy In Your Heart!

Standard

“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”

Life is beautiful but sometimes it gets rough and unfair.    I want my children to always be strong when adversities come and always seek God’s guidance and help when the going gets tough.  They must remember that God always wants the best for us, He wants us  to enjoy His blessings and find joy in everything that we have and do…inspite or despite of.

These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.”-John 15:11

I want to share with you this page I made during the Adobo girls’ post Holidays get-together last month.   A reminder for my Alexa to always find…

JOY IN YOUR HEART:

Materials Used:  Everything Webster’s Pages except for the mini circle alpha stickers, black alpha rub-ons and floral center (pearl & bling).

Made these flowers…

from Liza’s Tim Holtz’  floral die…

Aren’t they beautiful?!   (thanks Liza for the tutorial too!) There are more designs you can make out of this set,  really!  Can’t wait to try another!

Thank God for scrapbooking, it really adds so much joy in my life! *wink*

How about you? Are you into something that brings you joy?

To love…

Standard

…that’s our purpose in life.   As the Lord Jesus Christ  said  “Love one another as I have loved you!”  (Luke 13:34 ).   And to whom and from whom do we give and  get love first?…our FAMLY, of course!

Here’s a Valentine layout for the love of my life, my family!

Materials Used: mostly supplied by Buzy Bees (thanks Honey!) and some from Yellow Violet House.

Photo taken on Christmas day during hubby’s family reunion in Pampanga.  Dragged the kids from the pool to take this photo…talk about scrappy moment!  Entered this to this week’s challenge over  at  Color Combos Galore.

Hope you had a cheesy and love-filled V-day!

Now, continue to spread the love…love…love!

My Girl…

Standard

… is such a girly girl. Alexa always insisted on wearing her pretty dresses even if there’s no where to go. One time before bedtime, she was wearing her favorite plum dress and was rummaging through my bag. And before I knew it, she was wearing my necklace, Jackie-O sunglasses and was getting hold of my powder & lipstick. I found her too cute to reprimand so I just grabbed my camera to record her sassiness (for scrapbooking purposes, you bet!). ;o)

Here’s a layout I made for this month’s XOXO Challenge using those photos:

DRESS UP-COUTURE:

Materials Used: Papers-Canson, Dreamstreet, Teresa Collins, AAS, Prima; Chipboard-Crate Paper, Prima; Flowers-Prima; Ribbons & Laces-local; Tattered Angels Mist.
