True XOXO challenge this June is to take a look into your closet and be inspired with what you see inside. A real challenge for me because my closet is sooo boring – – those blacks, whites, grays, reds and only occasional splashes of colors. Look…
A challenge because I don’t often use those blah colors in my scrapbooking *sigh* It was such a saving grace to find the perfect photo for this.
Yes, another lay-out for my scrapbooking buddies, the Adobo Girls! We go beyond just sharing our passion in this craft but also sharing our very real lives.
Please check out the amazing takes of the other girls here. Hope you can join in the fun!
…and counting! Yes, last December 11, Mr. O and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. No, we didn’t exchange silk nor linen, nor I receive jewelry in pearls (how I wish!) but spent the whole day out of town with our 2 princesses. It was a breezy, cold, sunny Tagaytay weather , perfect for cuddling!
Here’s a page to remember our anniversary and to thank God for giving us another year of togetherness:
Journal: Thank you Lord for giving us 12 years of togetherness! We pray for more years of bliss! 12-11-11

This layout is also my take on the first challenge for the year over at True XOXO. Please do take a peek on how we, the designers, interpreted the challenge and hopefully join in the fun! You have until end of the month to submit your entry/ies.
A Blessed 2012!
I hope you had a blast celebrating the holiday season! As 2011 ended, I also bid goodbye to a great scrapbooking digital/hybrid site who believed in me and got me as one of their Design Team members, my heartfelt thanks to Cherry Nest! You really challenged me to make out of the box creations. Thanks to Elina, the owner and designer, you are really a very talented one! I enjoyed my stint!
Here are the rest of the projects I made for them:
They are having a DT Call right now. Deadline for submission is on January 15, 2012. For more details, please visit their blog here.
Goodluck Cherry Nest and more power to you!
I’m not really into card making and altered art but being a member of a Design Team lets you explore outside your comfort zone. Here are my recent projects at Cherry Nest and I must say I enjoyed making these:
A RECIPE BOX (Altered Tin Can):
Hopefully, I can make more “out of the box” projects using Cherry Nest digital yummy goodies. I’ll be more than happy for your suggestions and I’m sure I’ll get more inspiration from your works too. So do let me know, I’d love to hear from you and/or see your works!
Please do join us in our blog hop. All you need to do is visit each of our individual blog and post a comment. You can start visiting XOXO’s blog here. To make the hop more exciting, we, lipstick chicks, challenged one another to create a layout especially for this.
If you just came from Cheryl’s, she challenged me to create a layout with tattoo on my mind. She meant thick outlines…with anchors, shallows, barbed wire…get the picture? Really a challlenge huh?!? Knowing my style, I was really dumbfounded. But when I rummaged through my stuff, I saw the old PRIMA paintables (remember them?) and *ting* it just hits me! I painted the Prima paintables with Twinkling H2O by LuminArte (loved the glitter and gloss in them), cut the images and outlined them with my black pen. Tadaa…
Very tattoo-ish but with my usual romantic, feminine and shabby chic-ness, right?
Winner of the blog hop will be our December GDT for True XOXO. Please make sure you visit the blogs of these fab ladies and post a comment on each:
Increase your chance to be a GDT by taking any of the challenges we posted for one another. Common on, it’ll be doubly exciting, I tell you! Would love to hear from you and read your comments here.
Now, please visit my co-DT Faye and know what I asked her to do and see how she has taken my challenge for this blog hop.
Winners will be announced by October 23 EST! So be sure to go back to the blogs with prizes given away especially True XOXO, of course!
Thanks so much for playing along!

Please do join in the challenge…create a lay-out inspired by the word INSTGR.AM (or Hipstamatic if you may) – – -be it the application itself or the colors it conveys OR scraplift any of the lipstick chicks’ creation you can find here. The winner will have the privilege to be our guest designer for November. Please do visit our blog to know more of the mechanics.
Also, please do watch out for XOXO blog hop happening very soon! It’ll be an exciting one with great RAKs to be given away!

I’m glad Gaby enjoys going to school. She’s now in Grade 5 and she’s having a blast inspite of the many assignments, tests and projects she has to do, all by herself.
I forgot to scrap her class pictures after doing her Grade 1 class photo and just remembered it now when the September products of Cherry Nest are Back-to-School theme. Here’s her Grade 2 class picture:
Journaling: May you never cease to have fun in school.
