It’s a Habit!

Sorry to miss posting this on time! I was nursing a severe infection on my left eye since last Thursday. So I can’t use the computer for more than 10 minutes,  I can’t read any book, much less scrapbook!  And watching t.v. was such an effort.   But it’s now healing, thank God!

The second challenge for August at Moments Recorded is up.  It’s also simple but this time you have to follow a very basic sketch ;o)

You are to create a layout using the sketch provided with the following conditions:

· at least 25% of white space

· journal (printed or hand-written)

· usage of mist (glimmer mist, maya mist, and or any sort of mist)

· masking technique (optional) (this is to incorporate the mist)

You can find the sketch here.

Here’s what I’ve come up with…

It's a habit!

Twirl it…then twirl it!

That’s what you do to your

hair when you’re bored!

Materials Used: Daisy D’s, Daisy Bucket PPs; KI Mem Lace CS; DCWV CS; Tattered Angels glimmer mist; DMC thread; Colorbok chipboard; SEI tag; Prima blings; AC buttons; local ribbon; unknown alpha chipboard; Whispers & Colorbox ink; Ranger’s stickles

This is my “Sisa”. She has a habit of twirling her hair since she was 2 or 3 years old. She does this when she gets bored or while watching something. I bet she does this too when listening to her teacher in school. I hope she outgrows this so she won’t be teased as “Sisa” when her classmates and playmates get to read Noli Me Tangere  😀

Anyways,  hope you play with us.  Send in your creations to on or before 29th August 2009.  Thanks!
