I was so happy to know that I was a featured member at Webster’s  Inspire Me  site a couple of weeks ago.  Almost missed it I tell you!   Webster’s Pages is one of my favorite scrapbook brands.  They come up with very sweet, romantic, nostalgic and beautiful designs every time!  Love love them!  Thanks for the feature, Webster’s!

This is the most recent page that I uploaded in my Webster’s Inspire Me Page:

SWEET LOVE:

Photo Credit: Pompom A.

After taking a longer look at it, I changed the base to this:

The shaped Webster’s layout popped out, right?  More dramatic…

Materials Used:  Mostly Webster’s Pages except for BG base paper, MR bird chipboard, local brand rub-ons, pearl brad, fabric leaves  & lace, MM bling & metal round embellishment, Colorbox ink  and  MS puncher.

This is one of my favorite photos of me and my girls.  They’re really my dream come true!

Watch out for more of my Webster’s Pages! *wink*

A New Look…

A New Look…

Do you like what you see?  Was able to tinker the features in WordPress during the long break and decided to change the look of my blog.  This is nicer, more vibrant, fun,  just like me, don’t you agree?  I’m still trying to find out how to change the header with the specified size.  Hope I can do it successfully soon.  In the meantime, I love how this looks and I might leave it as is, let’s see.

Speaking of new look, XOXO has also been re-vamped with a new sexy, foxy look.  Fit for the lipstick chicks like us.    Want to be our October guest designer?  Visit XOXO now to know how.

Bags of Love

Bags of Love

Christmas is just around the corner and as early as now, we have to plan ahead especially in our gift giving.   Start with the list of the lucky people you want to give gifts to.  Then, decide on the budget per person or per family.  Scout around for the perfect gift as early as now.  Of course, it would be doubly special and perfect if it’s well thought of and prepared  ahead of time, wouldn’t you agree?

I’d say, “personalized” is the way to go!   Surfing the net one day led me to this awesome site…

They make perfect gifts that would last a lifetime.  A memorable and fun way to remind the receiver of the people they love.  Look at these…and drool…

From cute and beautiful purse…

…to blankets and pillows filled with their fab photos!

Here are perfect gifts for her…

and for him…

…including stuff for your favorite nephew or godchild!

Can’t think of the perfect anniversary gift for your spouse?  Bags of Love has thought of that too!  Check this out…

Everything’s perfect for our own pleasure too.  From bags, to photobooks…from photobox to puzzles…to a canvass print of our favorite photo even.  More precious than a Picasso, right? (…and they’re on sale too!)

Endless possibilities you never dared imagine but they did!

Bags of Love is based in UK but they ship all over the world.  So, what are you waiting for? Order now!

Don’t be caught with the Christmas rush.

Looking Forward…

Looking Forward…

…to great things in 2011! I’m still not getting over the feeling of excitement, anticipation, hope and sometimes fear too of things happening this year! God only knows but we’re claiming they will be awesome!

Thinking about it made me list down the things/events that I should look forward to this year. Let me share some of them in no particular order:

1. Asian trips in March and June…tickets have already been purchased but no hotel bookings yet!

2. Planning to return to Boracay during lean season…waiting for seat sale;

3. Higher production goal since we surpassed last year’s figures (ugh!) and with God’s grace, we will succeed and meet the goal again;
4. One to One and Victory Weekend (with God’s grace nothing will stop me from this);
5. Final steps/documentation regarding our migration;
6. Better household because we will have a new pair of kinder, hard-working, smart, God fearing, harmonious, cooperative house angels this month!
7. Healthier family…healthier me (please let this be a realization before the end of 2011!);
8. 60+ new scrapbook pages inclusive of the Disney Album I’m finishing (I’m retaining my “1 lay-out/week” goal plus some…can’t promise more tsk tsk);

Here’s one of last year’s lay outs that’s too cute not to share:

GOTCHA:

9.  More DT assignments and scrapbook features and wins (if only I have the time and more courage to apply hehehe);

10.  Alexa’s first time to go to pre-school.  Hope she’ll enjoy it.

My list goes on and on but I’d rather not post all of them lest you think otherwise of  me haha.

So, how about you? Care to share yours?

Week 38: Girls just wanna have fun!

Week 38: Girls just wanna have fun!

Last September 24, the Adobo girls converged again to celebrate the birthdays of our September celebrators (and my birthday too which was last June hahaha…and my BFF’s last August ;o). We had a blast spending the day scrapping, scrapshopping, chitchatting, eating…and…and…spending most of the time having silly poses in front of the camera! I tell you, it was a fun, instant photoshoot…here are some snapshots which Pia and Liza took!

Thanks Liza for editing these!

The shabby chic interiors of our favorite LSS, Lasting Impression has a lot of perfect spots for this shoot!

What a day indeed! Even my daughter who had to tag along enjoyed it (even if we ignored her the whole time hahaha)! Can’t wait for another one soon!

Happy Birthday Alexa!

Happy Birthday Alexa!

We have waited 7 long years for this little girl to arrive.  Our happiness can’t be contained when God finally granted us with another great blessing 3 years ago!  God is really amazing!  Thank you, Lord!  Continue to shower Alexa with good health and happiness always!  May she grow up to be a good Christian, responsible citizen and a strong-willed but kind hearted soul and be rewarded with an exciting and wonderful life!  Love you, our sweet & kikay bunso!

Week 36: Joanne’s in town!

Week 36: Joanne’s in town!

Our Australia-based friend, Joanne, is back in town for a month long vacation. But we can’t wait to see her so within 24-hours from her arrival, we met and had a grand time with the rest of the gang! It was such a good night filled with good food and good laugh…yes, everything good!

Thanks to this warm-hearted soul, I was able to unearth my creative me. It was her insistence and encouragement that I got into scrapbooking in 2003. I was reluctant at first, but it just took a couple of pushes and shoves and I got hooked with this hobby, all line and sinker.

Revealing some of the pages from my first decent scrapbook album made 7 years ago…

GABY’s BORN:

One of my first pages in 2003!

BAGUIO:

Back in year 2003-2004, a 2-page layout was the way to go!

After this, as the say, is history…now working towards my 500th page (and I’m a slow scrapper at that!)

Thanks again my dear friend Joanini, looking forward to more decades of friendship!

Week 23: Happy Birthday…

Week 23: Happy Birthday…

…to my first love, my bestfriend, my critique, my mentor, my blessing, my love…happy 37th birthday to my one and only…Oliver.

(This is an old lay-out made in 2007 ;o)

May the good Lord bless you and our family with good health of mind, body and spirit;  financial blessings so you can continue to be a blessing to others; long fruitful life serving God through others; and happiness and joy as we walk with God revealing His ultimate plans for us.

Thank you and thank God for your gift of life!  I so look forward celebrating more birthdays with you!  I love you, tart!

I spotted the Scrap That!’s Spot this Contest! Yahoo! Scrap That! is an online scrapbooking store that evolved as a new scrapbook kit club based in Canada. They continue to offer other yummy scrapbooking stuff you can buy separately. I was so very lucky to be drawn as the winner of their first ever kit (May’s Blue Velvet Kit)! What a blessing indeed! Over $45 worth of scrapbooking goodness, imagine!

Visit their blog to see tutorials from their June Guest Designer, our very own talented Pinay scrapbooker, Janis! And not only that, their new June “Queen Bee” kit includes an exclusive sketch of another awesome Pinay scrapbooker, LG, who is their in-house sketch artist (woot woot)! Way to go girls!
